Freya Arocha

Freya Arocha is originally from England, where she began dancing at the age of 4. At age 11, she was accepted to attend Bush Davies Theater Arts Boarding School in Sussex, England. There she trained under some of the finest teachers in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Drama and Singing. In 1985 she was nominated as Dr. Bernardo’s Champion Child of the Year and had the privilege of performing for the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

She concluded her training at the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in Kent, England and achieved her Advanced Levels in the Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD).

After graduating from College, Freya travelled and worked on numerous Cruise Ships as a performer and then attained the position of General Manager at Jean Ann Ryan Productions, Inc. There she choreographed production numbers and assisted guest choreographers on numerous Broadway style and Cirque style productions for Cruise Ships. She also arranged and held audition tours throughout the US and Europe. After taking a hiatus from the entertainment world to start a family, Freya is very happy to return to her first love and is excited to become part of the teaching faculty at ABC Dance Studio. ABC Dance Miami, Miami Dance Studio, Tap, Pointe, Hip hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Song and Dance, Gymnastics, Acrobatics, Girls Competition Company.
