Adaptive Dance Classes Lessons

Studies have shown that participating in regular dance classes improves coordination and balance in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our dance instructors have training in teaching children of all abilities and offer support for families. 

At ABC Dance Company our passion, love and dedication to dance allows us to teach our students with the highest technique. We take pride in providing the best faculty to all of our dance students. We believe that dance has much to offer beyond the physical and we train our dancers not only to be their best in the studio but to respect and appreciate the art.

Adaptive dance is a creative movement program that has been tailored for individuals with differing abilities, focusing on creating an open environment in which all abilities can participate.

This program provides an opportunity for children with Autism Spectrum and individuals of all abilities to experience the joy of dance, while developing body awareness, coordination, and balance in a traditional studio environment.

We emphasize creative movement principles and modified dance technique in a welcoming and structured studio environment. Classes are taught by ABC School instructors experienced in adaptive dance with limited space available. Caregivers may observe and/or participate in classes if they wish.

We provide private classes for our adaptive dancers.
We have set times in our class schedule that are available strictly for private lessons.

Privates are limited and requires a brief intake assessment. Enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
